What then shall we say?
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?………..
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?………
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8: 31, 35, 37-39
The New Year is often a time for questioning
Where have we been
Where will we go
What then shall we say?
New Year
New Beginnings
The glitter of Christmas is past
With a new focus on the clean blank pages of the year ahead
Pages, although yet unmarked, filled with the potential of what is to come
Anticipation
Fear and uncertainty
Hope and wonder
All come from the same root of anticipation
But how you approach that anticipation
But how you approach that anticipation
Influences what form it takes going forward
What’s past is past and what is not yet, is to come
Speak it out
Not just in your spirit
But in the physical realm
Give voice to what you see coming
What then shall we say?
Potential
Anticipation
Speak it out
Have you yet taken the time to sit with the Lord
To listen
To hear
To ask for and receive direction?
Have you taken time to sit and “write the vision” (Habakkuk 2:2)
To you plan to stride confidently in to the new year
With a plan and a purpose
Or will you just sit back and let life happen to you
one more time?
What a mighty and precious promise from the Lord
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
What a mighty and precious promise that will allow us
If we reach out and grasp it with both hands,
To move forward in power and in might
In the strength of the One
from whom we cannot and will not be separated
regardless of the questions we have
about the year behind
or the year ahead

Move into 2017
With confidence
Anticipating abundant life
As you walk closer and closer each day
With the Savior
Relying on His abundant promises
