Then Came the Morning

And the summer passed
The days we thought we had
Passed through our fingers like sand

The fall flowers are blooming
The days cooler
The nights darker

Seasons change and shift

Tomorrow, Monday,
A new day
A new week
A shift season

Time to shift with the shift
Accounting for the minutes
That they don’t pass us by
Unfruitful
Full of regret

Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5

And then came the morning!
