Simple Blessings: Last Day of School – Enjoying the Rain

Miss Emily dressed up and sitting pretty for her last day of Primary. 

Thursday night we celebrated at McDonald’s with supper and new summer shoes for both Emily and Lincoln.  

A picture of childlike thankfulness = two children, in the middle of McDonalds, throwing off their old shoes, frantically slipping on new ones. Lincoln high fiving me when he got them on the right feet by himself, and the two of them laughing as they showed me how high they could jump and how fast they could run in their new shoes.
