My refuge and fortress
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.

Happy Monday!
Another beautiful fall morning in the Martimes.
In reading Psalm 91 this morning I was reminded of this very large and beautiful tree out in the back yard – tall and wide and fully “leafed” – just how I picture the Lord, with arms outstretched, waiting to draw us in to His embrace.
Where are you dwelling today?
In the secret place of the Most High?
In the shadow of the Almighty?
It is a safe place
A shelter in the storm
A place of beauty and strength
