Happy Wednesday!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,

And do not return there,

But water the earth,

And make it bring forth and bud,

That it may give seed to the sower

And bread to the eater,

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void,

But it shall accomplish what I please,

And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

“For you shall go out with joy,

And be led out with peace;

The mountains and the hills

Shall break forth into singing before you,

And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Happy Wednesday!
Another lovely midweek day in the Maritimes.
The fall really is rather lovely, although cool.
During devotions this morning the Lord was speaking to me about what I “see”
Reminding me that what I see in the physical – in my circumstances, isn’t what I take my direction from, but rather what I “see” in the spiritual – what I KNOW God has spoken into and over my life.
And how do I know what God has spoken over and into my life – by reading His Word and spending time in conversation with Him, listening for His heart for me.
Christianity is not about rules and do’s and dont’s – rather it is about cultivating a relationship with the Lord and walking in that relationship.
The Word tells us that God’s Word goes forth and will not return void.
What Word from the Lord are you waiting on today in your life?
What Word has He given you that you need to begin to “see” in the spiritual – above what you are seeing in your circumstances?
You need to speak that Word out again today, standing strong on the promises of the Lord.

Learning to walk with the Lord
Learning to “see” in the spiritual
Learning to live in faith.
