Faithfulness, Mercy and Hope
“The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”
Genesis 9:16
Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD
Ezekiel 1:28
And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
Revelation 4:3
As we walk through this journey
Time seems to have elongated
And by times, has stood still
Every breath a moment in and of itself.
But this morning
Running on little sleep
And family
And asking for a Word from the Father
I see this pic on Facebook.
This full rainbow over the hospital last night.
Even as we inside waited and watched
And struggled to find peace in the midst
The Father painted the sky
With a remainder of his mercy and faithfulness
And eternal hope
In the midst of the storm.
The light shines in the darkest of places
Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning
Psalm 30:5
Keep faith
His mercies are new every morning
There is always hope
There is always love
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
