Canada Day – And Yet More Rain!
July 1st – Happy Canada Day! And yet another rainy day in beautiful Nova Scotia. I must say I am a little disapointed in the weather as this is vacation week – however, living in Nova Scotia you learn to “dance between the raindrops” so to speak.
Sunday evening i fnished painting my Dollar Store birdhouses – I once had unlimited patience for painting – now, not so much 🙂 But, it looks cute on the deck and the birds will enjoy it…..

During a break in the rain on Saturday I was able to finish potting my summer flowers!

And on Monday we were able to get out for a nice stroll on the boardwalk in Eastern Passage.

So, in between the raindrops John and I found some colour and some love! 
Enjoyed a lovely stroll on the boardwalk. Found some lovely rocks (we are both a bit obsessed with rocks!). Posed on some driftwood and watched the sun break through the clouds one last time for the evening.

The neighbours put on a private fireworks display which we saw bits and pieces of from the living room, accompanied by strawberry/rhubarb pie with strawberries and dream whip and a nice cup of tea!
And so, in spite of the rain, another day of blessings.
