A Time for all Things
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew; A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.

Happy Snow Day!
It has been a few weeks since I’ve blogged.
Time moves quickly and it is easy to get caught up in the flow of its tides.
The Word of God says there is a time for all things
Birth and Death
Sowing and Harvesting
War and Peace
Since I last blogged I’ve experienced the varied passage of time.
We’ve mourned a sudden and early death
Where the very heavens opened up their gates and spilled forth rain and wind
Where the very heavens opened up their gates and spilled forth rain and wind
Along with our hot, angry and confused tears.
We’ve celebrated life
The twins are now 2
Growing
Precious
Such a gift.
I’ve signed a work contract for the next few months
New doors
New opportunities.
Leading to a Leggings and paperwork
kind of day in my computer room.
AND
We’re only 14 sleeps away from our sunny vacation.
But today, I felt to stop the quick flow of time
Pause for a moment and reflect
And share
What the Lord has placed in my heart.
Today is the day.
Not tomorrow
Not next week.
We are not promised either.
Today is the day of salvation.
Today is the day to offer up your heart and soul to the Creator
The One that breathed life into you
The One that has loved you since before the foundation of the world.
The One that has good plans for your life.
Don’t delay.
The relationship He offers is sweeter than anything else you’ll ever find.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
